We have received abstracts from the Supreme Court for the Month of May Treasury this morning, and we observe Mr. W. F. Bevan, Acting Judge's Clerk, placed on the list for the full salary of the office.

Not having any authority for the payment of more than half salary to Mr. Bevan, we have examined the Colonial Treasury accounts and regret that we have no alternative but to return the abstract for correction.

We shall also be under the necessity of surcharging Mr. W. H. Alexander, Esquire, Registrar of the Supreme Court.
